Academic Rules of the School

ACADEMIC RULES

  1. Pupils are expected to regularly prepare their lessons &do their homework. Those who have not done theirhomework will not be allowed to sit in the class.
  2. Pupils should treat their classrooms as sacred places.They are expected to maintain silence and order in theclassrooms. Those who disturb the class will be sentout of the classroom. During the absence of a teacherfrom the class, pupils must obey the leader appointed tomaintain good order.
  3. Students should bring all the prescribed text and notebooks of the day without failure.
  4. Each subject should have separate note book.
  5. Students should submit the projects in time, latesubmission without valid reason will cause a loss of fivemarks automatically.

DISCIPLINE

  1. It is obligatory to wear the uniform prescribed for theseason on class days and at school functions. Thosewho are not correctly dressed in conformity with the

regulation of the school will not be admitted to the classes

  1. Except for reasons of ill health and unavoidablecircumstances, a previous written application from the

guardian is required for any leave of absence. If anypupil has been absent for more than two days, he/sheshould not enter the Class without first obtaining

permission from the Headmaster.

  1. Any pupil who absents himself / herself for one calendarmonth without a written permission from the Headmastershall have his / her name struck off the rolls. To be readmitted he / she will have to pay fresh admission feesas well as all fees for the said period of absence.
  2. 80% attendance in a class is required for promotionto the next higher class.
  3. Those who do not report to class for one week thevacation will have their names struck off the rolls. TheHM reserves the right to consider applications for thereadmission of such pupils.
  4. Running, playing or shouting in the school building arenot permitted. During the class hours pupils should movealong the corridors in silence and in order.
  5. Participation in games, physical training and culturalactivities are compulsory Exemption will be granted onmedical grounds only.
  6. Pupils are strictly forbidden to form any association orto engage themselves in any group activity or to raisefunds HM for any purpose without the permission of the

HM or an officer authorized by him on his behalf.

  1. Books, Tiffin boxes, Water bottles, etc. belonging tothe pupils should bear the name of the owner. Theschool does not hold itself responsible for articles

lost in the school premises.

  1. Pupils are not allowed to buy, sell or exchange anyarticles among themselves in the school premises.
  2. No one should write on the furniture or walls or damageany school article. Damage by accident should bereported to the Principal at once. Any damage causedto school property or to the property of another studentmust be made good.
  3. Pupils shall not circulate books, magazines or periodicalsin the school without the permission of the Headmaster.
  4. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, theft, dishonesty,immoral conduct, insubordination, neglect of homework,disobedience or disrespect towards the members of thestaff, unruly behaviour or immoral influence justifydismissal.
  5. English should be spoken in the school premises at all

time in order to acquire fluency in speaking the language.

  1. Certificates, concession forms, etc. will be issued onlytwo days after the application has been submitted to theoffice. A fee of Rs. 100/- will be charged for any extractfrom the school registers.
  2. Without the written permission from the Headmaster/ In-Charge / Class Teacher, pupils will not be allowedto leave the school during school hours.
  3. Pupils of this school are not permitted to bring Mobilephones, Electronic gadgets, unauthorized CDs, Fancywatches, Gold ornaments and other valuable goods.Once confiscated they will not be returned before 6months.
  4. Older children should set a good example to youngerchildren.
  5. Usage of the bathrooms to be restricted only to the breaktime, unless it is emergency.
  6. All litters should be put in the bins provided before wesay the final prayers daily.
  7. Students must use only good, decent and positivewords at all times.
  8. Students must not waste electricity & water.
  9. Students are to be quiet and orderly and observeproper decorum during school events such asassemblies, celebrations, and specially while leavingthe classroom daily.
  10. Students are to stand up and greet the teacher beforeand after the Class.
  11. Pants and Skirts must be of proper specification andshould be tucked in decently. Fingernails are to beshort and unpainted and hair properly combed.
  12. Boys must be neat in appearance. Girls must use hairaccessories such as hair bands and clips, which are tobe black. Girls skirts must be up to the knees, socks

pulled up to the knees, hair neatly combed and madeinto one or two plaits.

  1. Students are not allowed to post any indecentcomments about the school, staff or students or postphotos in any form in any website.
  2. Students are not to use jell on hair or colour their hair.Any student showing disrespect to the staff at anytimes will have to face serious consequences.
